Let's be honest — how do you actually love your enemies? Jesus said, “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” That’s one of the hardest commands ever. What does that kind of love look like in real life? ❤️🔥 It looks like having to forgive someone who assaults and verbally abuses you or mentally, or physically hurts you , but still praying for their salvation.

When Jesus said “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you” He was teaching us a radical ethic of the Kingdom of God. At its heart, this command is about:
1. Breaking the cycle of revenge (eye for an eye) – Instead of retaliating or wishing destruction, we entrust judgment to God (Romans 12:19).
2. Showing God’s compassion and mercy – We love as He loves, even those who are undeserving (Luke 6:35–36).
3. Seeking transformation – Praying for enemies includes asking God to soften their hearts, bring repentance, and align them with His will.
