My favorite moments from this short were the parts featuring Lucille Ball. She was a stunningly beautiful woman! The first time I watchef it was when I was was 10 years old, back in 2009. I was mesmerized by her good looks even as a kid. 🤩 I'm a third generation Three Stooges fan! I give my awesome father all the credit for introducing me to them!

On this day in Three Stooges history, Three Little Pigskins was released!
Considered one of the more physical shorts, this was the first time the Stooges refused to perform a stunt. Despite pleas from director, Raymond McCarey, the trio decided to opt out because the football players in the short were actual college players. The studio found three stunt doubles, who ended up getting seriously injured during the scene. Moe was quoted in his autobiography saying that, “McCarey was speechless and sat in his director’s chair with his head in his hands.”
