Probably Kind of Blue as a kid, but picking up Kamasi Washington’s The Epic was what really turned me on to jazz.

I think it was the John Coltrane Quartet playing live: Chim-Chim-Cherie, Nature Boy & Naima . It made a huge impact (and led me to take up the saxophone).

I think it was best of Horace Silver v1 on Blue Note. I would get to shake his hand one day, a true god of jazz. Grip like steel too.
