Have you gotten the new F4U Corsair for DCS?

Want to get it, the state looks fine. I’m just excited to fly this beast. Just waiting to have enough time to enjoy it before I spend the money.

@icedstar

I was very interested in it but since it looks like it came out in a very rough state regarding the flight model and sounds I will wait for it to be fully developed before thinking about buying it. I'll just fly my mosquito if I feel the WW2 itch.

I lowkey don’t care much about propellor planes, could someone who is tell me what they enjoy about them?

I'm not into the props much. I have P47, P51 and it never grabbed me. Cold war and up for me.

I'm interested in it, but I'll wait. Eight years to develop and still came out in a very shameful state. Also, we run a high risk of Mag3 pulling a Razbam then we we'll have another module without further development. One or two years from now I'll come back and see if it is in a worthy to buy status.

Want to get it, and I do not shy away from early access stuff (got the 29 and own almost every module in the game). But watching F4U content on YouTube has me very disappointed. It seems to fly and sound like an RC toy plane instead of a heavy beast. Doesn’t seem to care about insane G-pull, no animations of cockpit shaking, lame sound etc, super twitchy and light on controls.. I hope it will improve but if this is 8 years of development, I doubt these fundamentals will be fixed.
