Love that it’s stainless steel! Does the rice stick to the bowl?

Ooh. Will you do a one-pot rice cooker meal video?? I haven't mastered simple meals like tomato rice in my rice cooker, but I really need to 😭

I was also scared of the "no button" thing until I learnt it is a simple feature where heating is automatically switched from "cook" to "keep warm" mode when the pot reaches 108°C. Am I right? I am curious though" 1. Is the inner pot also stainless steel? 2. Is this any different from a classical/conventional rice cooker? I bought a steaming basket to put on top of my simple, conventional rice cooker. I love this collab and the retro vibe! I want to learn to do more cooking in a rice cooker, like actual, full on meals. Tried one recipe so far. It is so energy efficient and easy on your electrical bill (which is very welcome these days)

Don't know why ppl like this. No timing feature. It's super manual so can't set and forget. And you got more things to clean...

East Meets Kitchen
I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON THIS COLLABORATION FOR THE LONGEST TIME!! - SINCE I WENT TO TAIWAN EARLIER IN THE YEAR. I've partnered up with Brooklyn (and Taiwan) - based@yunhaishop to bring you the most gorgeous, most iconic name in Asian rice/steam cooking history☺️. For those not familiar, this is the @TATUNGTW steam cooker (in its original, retro-beautiful red and green) that uses a double boiler-type mechanism to cook your rice, soups, stews, etc etc. People on Reddit swear theirs have been in the family for 30...40 years.
I'm going to be filming the review over the next few weeks. It's a magical piece of equipment, but it's hard to describe exactly why (I'm hoping I get the words down for you all😂). If any of you have questions (or maybe comments if you've used one in your family) I would love to hear about it.
