AJ Pickett

As am currently out of action and fighting the flu (and winning, of course), while watching youtube videos (catching up on many channels I enjoy), it occurs to me I have not had a good rambling video lately, so, hit me up with your most pressing D&D questions "Why are dwarves short?" and "Can Gnolls eat zombies?".

I’d love an explanation of what it’s like for the undead to exist on the material plane. There was a wonderful description of their point of view within the Skeleton video you did a few years ago, but that one vanished when the channel got hacked a while back.

The relationship between order and chaos in dnd, from the first edition to the current

What is your favorite monster and why? Also a list of favorite from each kind would be great: Dragons, undeads, elves, aberrations, fiends, fey...

Hope you're feeling better AJ. As a lore smith, and world creator I'm fascinated by the logistics of a fantasy world. I'd love a video on how to incorporate the idea of the advancement of the fantasy world as more modern technology is created. How would a "Wagon" maker transition to a company from a merchant. How would a kingdom deal with the commoners becoming less dependent on the kingdom.

What is the scariest monster/creature you can think of. Not only in appearance but in abilities and capabilities.

The evolution of magic through the editions, from low magic to basically everything is magic, and the consequences that would have on the setting if it is remain consistent

I can't recall, have you done one on poisons and diseases? Maybe some descriptions and even if possible the inventors through the editions? Could be interesting

Aboleths and Mindflayers are in the same region. How do they interact? Do they conflict? Do they work together? What would both possibilities look like?

@Relliscool

First of all more power to you sir, get those viruses out. Second, here's the questions: 1. How dose Kenku intelligence work? Are they fast learners which is the reason why they are able to copy movement and the crafts of others so well? 2. Are all the fish, reptilian, amfibian and invertebrate races endotermic since very capable brains need high energy to be put into function? 3. Why are so many types of dragons are almost always either good or evil? 4. What are the origins of Shifters and Changelings, are they mutated humans by magic? 5. Can elementals live on the material plane as well and if yes how do they interact with mortals? Can they change the ecosystems in positive or negative ways and that's why Druids need to exist? 6. On the topic of Druids what is the difference between the way they and Wizards interact with the magics of the world? I remember seeing in a Magic the Gathering novel a Druid and a Wizard talking about magic and the Druid asked the Wizard if he touches his spells the way she dose and later on the she makes spell visable to the eye of the Wizard as well allowing his to see them for the first time and I wonder if this sort of dynamic can exist in dnd as well.

If gods get their power from worshippers, could a group of bards accidentally “create” a god just by telling stories about one until everyone believes in it? This is a bit of a Warhammer influenced question btw. I come from The Warhammer side of tabletop gaming but absolutely love your stuff. Like when I paint my mass Warhammer armies I am typically listening to you.

The flu should be a creature in D&D Imagine doing a dungeon like an abandoned ancient apothecary to find magic soup recipe or a magic lemon lime tonic water fountain to remove the creature and it's debuffs from one of your characters or something lol 😅 I see potential Edit: Get better soon I'm sorry you're feeling all funky
