What a group of lovely girls! I hope their future seasons won't become repetitive and tired to the point their cute artstyle gets pointlessly changed!

I kinda miss the ‘girly ‘ cartoons that isn’t about woman stereotypes or make that there enter character’s personality I love what the total spy did with there characters , there personality isn’t just shopping and boys but each have threes own goals and there own personality . It kinda sad that you don’t see that kinda stuff anymore-

Otome Isekai, literally meaning 乙女 (otome) meaning girl and 異世界 (Isekai), meaning other world is a subgenre of literature, games etc where the protagonist (who is a girl most of the times) travels from a world similar to our own to another. 乙女ゲーム (otome geemu) is an example for the "Otome" genre, in this case a genre in the gaming industry which has mostly female protagonists and a largely female target audience. The genre also exists in literature and other media.

Ooooh, I'm excited to see what this is about. I loved Totally Spies when I was younger. I honestly think children's cartoons have become more gender-neutral, because I can't think of any hyper-masculine shows on either. However, the issue with gender-neutrality is that it still ends up catering more to masculine interests because society finds those more normative.

It's funny I really miss both the super girly shows and the more masculine action shows. modern cartoons just can't seem to scratch either itch for me

My favorite OtomeIsekais are "who made me a princess?", "Villains are destined to die/Death is the only ending for the villainess" and "Inso's law". I've read many more but those 3 are the best.

Winx club was one of those 3am shows that you only see at 3am and then never see again.

I loved totally spies and winx club and the likes growing up. You don't even see stuff with that quality animation coming from western studios and into the mainstream that much anymore. Let alone story telling (and, you know, winx club really set the bar low when it came to story telling so its almost an achievement that what's coming into the mainstream now is worse...)

Hello everyone! 👀 Hypotheticalllyyyy if my next video would be wondering where all the “girly” western cartoons went.... would you be interested in that? Also, how many of you are familiar with the term OtomeIsekai?
