First of all, thank you so much for 100k subs. It honestly means the world to me — and it makes this post even harder to write.
I know I haven’t posted in 9 months. I started this channel as a passion project, and as some of you know, I don’t make any money from my videos due to copyright. What began as a fun hobby slowly started to feel like an unpaid second job.
While working on Heathens, I was also doing full-time video and photo editing at my day job (still am), and it just got too much. At one point, it felt like I was editing for 12 hours a day, and it completely burned me out. I had to step back from the channel and put my energy into work and recovery.
I still love making videos. I miss it. And I know how much you guys enjoy them too. But right now, I don’t have the time or energy to create at the level I used to. I’m not saying it’s over — I might drop another AMV if inspiration and energy hit me. But I don’t want to promise anything I can’t deliver.
