Who had a better career in the 2000s? Kobe Bryant or Tim Duncan? 🤔 (via stat muse)

@abejohnson1590

Tim Duncan did. His defense was a full level above Kobe’s and Kobe was a good defender. On offense he could’ve done more but did less and focused on defense. He beat more overpowered teams on paper too

@tbjb009

You notice how they tried to condense it to just the 2000s to keep Kobe on the equal playing field??? 😏

@Cookofdeatheater

Both great. Equal. Only one is the best ever at his position but one isn’t greater than the other

More MVPs coachable to the T and selfless even when they tried to nerf their 90s impact. I love Kobe but it’s the underhand tactics when media tries to make a player look better makes me vote against them. If your favorite player is as great as you claim they are why not give the good with the bad?
