It's so laughable when you just talked to me days ago about taking a rest and planning to post a community post about it and boom!! this morning, the drama broke out. Welp thanks to them you have the answer of your hesitation, just take a rest~! I know that this isn't your first time getting hated, but I know what you've been through. Only if they know that your grandmother and your aunt just passed away, you have exams next week, and the internship starts next month. Maybe they'll understand the real reason why you're taking rest. But well, only because of that Twitter posts, people now think that you are quitting because of them (which are not, ofc they give the push, but well). They only see you from the outside and only call out the mistakes you made, but what about the good ones? Calling out mistakes is a good thing, of course!! But from what I've remembered, none of them have been correcting/asking you about your translations on your *own video comment*. I found it so weird. Why now? why on Twitter? criticising directly on this channel won't hurt them, too, right? and this is the platform that you use for uploading video and not Twitter? Also, remember, this account already existed for 2,5 years, and why just now? hahahaha, but I can't do much about it. You stay safe and take care!! Whenever a new album is released you're the one i go to so its really sad that you're leaving, but i respect your decision and wish you all the best for the future. (Lengthy comment incoming) I think the concerns over machine translation are valid, especially with the prevalence of AI in media these days, whether it be art, music, etc. However, this situation got overblown, because of course, Enstars fans and Twitter users aren’t the most friendly of people. I moreso saw it as a reason to be concerned rather than a reason to attack or ridicule you. From what I learned as a musician, it’s never good to rush out content to meet a deadline. If you can’t make it in time, then don’t speedrun the process. A little late with good quality is always preferable to on time with poor quality. I have seen some people suggest some other ideas, that being either posting the video with kanji and romaji and putting English in the subtitles once a high-quality translation is found, or collabing with translators to use their translations while you make the videos! I think it is an efficient way in order to have good translations with your absolutely stunning editing style. But of course, life gets in the way of our progress in life, so I understand that you can’t make videos again regardless. All in all, I am sad that you have to quit, but I wish you luck in all your future journeys, and of course, Jun loves you!

Thank you so much for your TLs over the years! They've been super useful for all the times I need to pull up the entire lyrics in either kanji or romaji. I appreciated the speed compared to how quickly the wiki updated with new lyrics, and I always found myself relying on your TLs one way or another, though my utilization of the English in them was very minimal. I'm glad you've decided to focus on yourself first and foremost, and while I will miss how helpful you've been to the community, taking care of yourself is always a much better investment. I can't express how grateful I am for how much you've aided me in learning all of the Enstars songs, and I wish you all the good luck I can muster and a happy future! Thank you so much!

The solid fact that anyone would be upset over your hard work and attempts to give us translated lyrics, regardless of how you translated them, is absolutely baffling. I commend you for stepping away for your mental health sake, and to focus on expanding your life and making a name for yourself. Thank you for all your hard. This just feels like fansubs that quit after people complaining about the free things they did for them😑 i cant believe these. It happens everywhere in any fandom. People need to stop this behavior.Twitter is literal hell (even i took months of hiatus for my mental health being a creator there) I wish you have easier life irl Lucidstars! Thank you so much for all the hard work, your contribution to the community has been invaluable and I really appreciate all the work that you've done up to this day, being able to listen to the song and read the lyrics and translation conveniently with the pretty card images and line distributions. It also helped as I was trying to learn japanese through enstars songs xD. I have followed your channel for quite a while and always turned to your videos first, also the speed at which you uploaded was incredible like srsly ur amazing. I will miss your channel but as others have said I'm happy for you deciding to move on! You didn't deserve any harassment at all, you having to apologise for using MTL is honestly so stupid anyone who has actually translated lengthy stuff will know it's common sense and efficiency to MTL first and edit the MTL. don't feel ashamed about it ❤

maybe this will be my last community post, so please read it carefully.
I saw people mentioning the stuff on Twitter, but let me explain it.
Before that, I'll not justify my behaviour, and I'm sincerely apologize if you think this is a dishonesty. As you guys read from my previous community post, I used mtl for translating the lyrics, but not all of them. I just use it when I'm really lost, and that's why I always said that not 100% of my translation is right. I read all stories that are connected with those songs and that's why sometimes I put some of my point of view on the tls. So really, I translate it by myself too, but also sometimes with the help of those mtl. I'm sorry if what I did is not transparent enough. I've edited all description notes to explicitly say that I'm using mtl for my translation lyrics.
But! Aside from that, I really want to be done with this. I'm tired of being compared with and being hated for something that I don't get any profit from (this is not the first time anyway). I make these lyrics videos as a hobby from the start, I've never known that the channel will grow this big, and many people will rely on / analyst from my tls. That's why I made this apology community post.
Again, that's also not the only reason that I quit. I have a lot on my plates too irl, so it's better that I quit instead of continuing to fight for the things that do not benefit me in any other way. I'll start my internship next month (yeayyy) and it'll be suuupppeer busy to handle this channel by myself, to provide an on time video lyrics for you guys. That's why I decide to stop, I don't want to get pressured by my own thoughts.
Thank you for the past 2,5 years, for the 27k subscribers (WOW), for the love and appreciation that you guys give me. I appreciate it so much~
