The world is so full of distractions, more than ever! It's like times speeding up, I love music so much but find it so hard to get into 'studio mode' , but I'm still going!, new desk, monitor, a MacBook Pro from 2020 and Ableton Live, Cubase. I think what motivates me is someone like yourself, but you need to be in boss mode, so imagine your a label owner and you need top tracks! So you have competitions to get the best tunes and the winner gets free mastering of the track? or a chance for the track to be on an Album of best tracks of the month or year on vinyl or digital. One of my mentors Brian @bizzybscience channel does Dubplate Wars, and Amen Therapy sessions, where people are encouraged to come up with new beats in that old school rave breakbeat choppage era of amenism or as Paradox would call it 'drum funk' . That's often what I need as a producer is to be 'given the task', then I'm more motivated to deliver. Brian's in the process of building his new studio.. hopefully it will help Dubplate Wars to continue.
