If your gospel cannot save someone by only believing then according to the word of God it is another gospel, it is a false gospel not of God but of the wicked one. It is a powerless gospel.
Galatians 1:8-9 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
Romans 1:16 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
The true gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth and those that believe are instantaneously kept by the power of God unto glorification only by believing as this is the true gospel of the scriptures.
1 Peter 1:5 5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
