Those were the coolest days. I had Jazz drive and several zip drives in my computer fleet. Back then you could fit an entire OS and apps in a 1GB partition so i experimented with using my Jaz drive as my boot device and a hard drive as a common drive for data. I could boot Linux, Windows, OS/2, BSD, or whatever just by swapping cartridges while all my documents, photos, etc stayed available.

I am still using a Zip Drive, under MX Linux. Each Zip disc is a β€˜folder’ to hold projects that I am working with FreeCAD and Lightburn. This is addition to the external drives that are back-ups.
