I hate when people assume that misremembering things means you're lying. If you've been traumatised, your brain tries it's best to put it away in a vault, and it can be extremely difficult to access them and piece together what really happened to you. That doesn't mean it didn't happen. You're one of the strongest people I've ever witnessed in my lifetime, kudos to you.

You are genuinely such an inspiration!! I watched your interview with dr Peterson lately and my boyfriend and I were absolutely in shock of your experience. How emotionally vulnerable you were of all your experience and how much you went through and how your beautiful soul still shines through all of that!! I wish I could give younger you growing up in North Korea the biggest hug and tell you everything would be okay!!! You are a kick ass person. Keep being amazing ❤️

Hi Yeomi!! I'm excited to hear that you are going on a book tour! I'm so disappointed in when people including some of the people that I know along with some of my friends make things up that you are lying about your experience in North Korea including being deniers of North Korea's oppression on human rights including people with disabilities' rights. I have the most respect for you for your con courageous story about overcoming your challenges on escaping from North Korea, supporting human rights including people with disabilities' rights causes, and addressing the need to expand on human rights. Your story about overcoming your challenges and being a strong advocate along with supporter of human rights including people with disabilities' rights really inspires me to work hard on my disability which is autism with a learning disability. It's hard on having a disability due to having trouble comprehending on learning different advanced subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts in different settings, and get teased. I face hate including discrimination due to halving a disability from people, some of my friends, and people that I know. Thank you Yeomi for all you do and sharing your story and wanting to make a world a better place. I hope that you consider visiting A2 Michigan and do an event at the Ann Arbor District Library because I would like to meet you in person because you inspire me to work hard on my disability and to be educated about the issues that we face. Voice of North Korea by Yeonmi Park
My book tour continues!
Hello from Wisconsin 🇺🇸
“Freedom is unlikely to be lost all at once and openly. It is far more likely to be eroded away, bit by bit, amid glittering promises and expressions of noble ideals.”
— Thomas Sowell

We must resist encroachments of these evil ideas in our institutions while time remains.
