I’m not mad at Caitlin or Sabrina for it. I mean, it would’ve been pretty epic but for Caitlin especially there’s no upside. Prob wouldn’t even be fun for her when it’s supposed to be because if she wins, people expected it. If she loses - egg on face. Honestly can’t imagine the daily pressure she deals with. Even with the whole Olympic thing, it’ll be good for her to get the hell away, get some rest and catch a break. Wouldn’t be surprised if she does it next year

How can you say CC declined because of money? What about maybe because she was invited late, or maybe she wants to prepare for the Saturday game against USA team, or maybe as what CC said, she wants people to watch the All Stars not just because of her, not taking credit. And, by Saturday, all eyes will be glued to CC, that again will create jealousy, rant from other players because of the attention that CC will get.

You know the wnba got turned down a lot when you have Erica Wheeler in the skills challenge. I bet the overwhelming consensus was F U pay me lol

I don't blame Clark & Reese for declining because they are exhausted and need a break after playing since Fall of 2023. Plus the WNBA doesn't pay enough for anyone to participate or win those AllStar events.

I think sabrina was asked if she would partake in the 3pt contest her response was "her shot wasn't falling" (34/35 %)from 3 and cc similar average (32%) from 3 ,so i guess they weren't feeling it. Kayla mc bride shooting 42% and dolson also in the 40% range .

LeBron I believe never did slam dunk contest , I can see Caitlin sitting out until wNba and the league players show some respect and gratefulness, don't participate

The WNBA has made it clear that they aren't to be taken seriously. Nothing they do should be taken seriously, Look at how they handled the Olympic team. So if they are willing to exclude superstars from major tournaments, events that could help grow the game, why wouldn't they be open to allowing their superstars to sit out of them? The people running the WNBA are not good business minded people. I don't now what they are motivated by but it definitely isn't about making money. Every singe moment where they could have capitalized has been met with mediocrity and criticism to do better.

It's simple. Winning team players get 100k .mvp 125k. Losing team players get 25k each. All you have to invest 1.6 mill roughly. Incentives are important.

Can't believe they declined. Two of the great 3 point shooters, would been great to watch. Got too be honest, the WNBA needs too up that pay. They dropped the ball. Give cc and brina, 10 bands and that's nothing. Salute

These rookies want to beat the USA team. So they are resting. Both Caitlin and Reese should have been on the Olympic team. Whether you like those players or not that’s how to grow the game. Why do vets eat there young???

I know two things: 1. You call a spade a spade 2. Caitlin Clark Kent is the most exciting player I’ve seen in years. That is all.
