I think silksong is fantastic, but E33 was monumental. Its only hurdle will be how early in the year it came out. Something would have to turn gaming upside down to beat out E33.

Nightreign is my Game of the Year so far. The last time I bought a "game" was Shadow of the Erdtree, so not much variety to choose from.

The only games I bought this year are nightreign and ender magnolia. The latter doesn't have the biggest audience so sadly I don't think it's gonna get nominated for anything, which is a huge shame :( I love it a lot

Expedition 33 really should win, but unfortunately the fact that so many gamers feel that way may be precisely the reason why it will get snubbed, just like what happened to Black Myth: Wukong last year. My honest vote for best multiplayer game would be Elden Ring Nightreign. Despite its flaws I had so much fun with it; having over 200 hours on Steam for a $40 game is pretty great.

I don't think Silksong will make it. It's not great enough or fresh enough, imo. I'm feeling E33 or Kingdom Come 2, but I hear a lot of love for Split Fiction too.

E33 is great art but mid as a game. Haven't played Silksong and got bored in the original as Metroid is an old ass game. Only thing I have enjoyed so far is Digimon but thats at best a 75/100

What do you reckon is gonna win GOTY this year? I feel the two games on everyone's mouths are E33 and Silksong. I don't really know anything about Silksong - just that it was hyped up for quite a few years.
