Watching the past NCT 127 videos, when WINWIN wasn’t on hiatus makes me angry and sad. For debut, I do understand that his Korean wasn’t the best but throughout WINWIN entire career in nct127, he received barely any lines and no centre time. SM why do you keep making the same mistakes over and over again?
You know what’s ironic about WINWIN’s situation, is that he didn’t even want to join SM in the first place. When SM first recruited him, he kept declining SM entertainment and gave them fake numbers. SM is the one that wouldn’t let him go, yet when he finally joined SM. They treated him like crap and rubbish, despite the fact that they were the ones who kept begging Winwin to join SM. Not to mention, WINWIN had so many opportunities to become really popular considering that he was considered for the role of “Mei zou,” in meteor’s garden. Which did really well. But why did SM decline? His role wasn’t even that big in NCT127, he had very few lines and centre time. I don’t know what SM was thinking, but declining the role of “Mei Zou,” was a big mistake.
There’s a reason why Hanggeng left SM entertainment in the first place. For those, who don’t who Hanggeng is. He was a Chinese idol who originally debuted in superjunior on 2005, but left in 2009. Even though the treatment of foreign idols is extremely bad today, it was so much worser before. Back when Hangeng was in super junior, there was a law about foreign idols in South Korea where foreign idols could only perform in 3 tv stations. So hangeng had to wear a mask on stage and had to stand behind the members in order to not exposed his identity. If he had exposed his identity, he would be kicked out of the group. Fun fact, most people thought that he was a backup dancer and didn’t even know he was an actual member of the group.
Honestly glad, Hanggeng left SM, since yuehua is treating him a billion times better compare to sm. To those who didn’t know, around the same time Hanggeng left SM and won the lawsuit against them. Yuehua entertainment was actually doing terrible around the same time, since the majority of their investors had dropped out considering Yuehua couldn’t afford really big Chinese singers back then. However once Yuehua had taken Hanggeng, they gain so much profit and Hanggeng is now one of the biggest stars in China. Honestly really hope that Yuehua takes over wayv, considering they will definitely be treated better there.
