Well said Charlie. Ive been doing your videos for a few months now. Made a huge difference to my flexibility, has reduced pain and stiffness all over. Haven’t mastered standing on my head, like you do sometimes, but hope to get there one day. Cheers 🎉

This was the best thing I ever learn. Do NOT think, do. Those thoughts will overwhelm us every time. A little movement goes a long way ❤ Thank you, Charlie, it's a great reminder as we head into cooler weather where even the food we eat is different and the mat feels a bit chilly❤

I love your simplicity and how honestly you share your experiences with the community. Motivation has been my biggest challenge as a person. Since I lost my job two years ago and am still unemployed, motivation has been scarce. Thank you for just being you ❤

Yes! This is such good advice. Lately I motivate myself to get my mat out by telling myself I can just do yoga nidra the whole time if I want. And sometimes I do, but most times I feel like doing at least a little movement by the time I have everything set up. ❤

I’m retired so creating my own routine has been crucial for my mental health. This time of year I love to go into my studio, open up the blinds first thing in the morning, roll out my mat and do a few sun salutations to literally greet the sun. As a person who suffers from SAD, this one shift has changed my winter days. Even if that’s all the yoga I have planned for the day, knowing I’m going to get that five minutes of glorious sunshine gets me out of bed.

Hello friends,
Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about motivation, or rather, how unreliable it can feel this time of year.
Every winter I used to wait for that spark to magically appear.
I’d finish work, make dinner, and then end up on the sofa scrolling, convincing myself I’d move tomorrow.
But the more I waited, the harder it got.
It was like my energy just… slowed down with the lack of daylight.
One evening, I decided to try something different. No plan, no big goal, just twenty minutes. I rolled out my mat, moved a little, breathed a little, and something shifted.
That small action was enough to remind me how good it feels to move my body. And that feeling? That was motivation.
Now, when I catch myself sinking into that winter slump, I remember: motivation doesn’t come first, movement does. It’s built, not found.
So if you’ve been waiting for the right mood, the right playlist, or the right burst of energy to get started…
maybe just start small.
A stretch, a few deep breaths, a short flow.
Sometimes that’s all it takes to wake something up inside you.
Sending you all love, warmth, and a little spark of movement energy this winter. ✨
You don’t need to wait for motivation, you can create it.
With love,
Charlie
