I also don’t think a women only gym is that novel- they already exist.

It already exists But my answer depends if it's female only or "whoever wears a skirt and a wig (or worse)"

Generally I don't like going to the gym at all. Yeah, exercise is hard, but I absolutely hate exercising in front of others. If they're male or female, it doesn't matter to me. I just don't like it.

Man here. I’m fine with women having their own gym as long as men have their own gym too. Men such as myself are afraid of being recorded and shamed online by women. The same standard should apply for both genders.

I’d love to go to a women’s only gym, but not really for the reasons people might cite. It’s mostly because I feel intimidated going into the weight section around men who can lift super heavy and know exactly what they are doing. I feel like I would feel more comfortable trying new things around just women. I also think I’d be more likely to strike up a conversation and make friends with other women in a women’s only gym.

Getting rid of cell phones in the gym probably would cut out a lot of nonsense

As a man I can completely understand. I really try to not even look at the gals at the gym when I go three times a week. I feel uncomfortable for them. I always try to be respectful.

As a gym girlie, nahhhh. To be fair my gym has a lot of super cool people since there’s a lot of retirees and older people, don’t mean that as an insult it’s really nice. I have like 6 older gym bros who say hi to me and I work at a grocery store close to the gym so they recognize me! Sometimes when I’m not feeling it one will be like “you’re going after work again right?” And then I go and feel awesome. One dude has been training for over 45 years and I see him helping newcomers like teenagers, he’s a hype man and I wouldn’t trade him for anything

Maybe if they have their own gym, i won't have to queue up for 6hours just to catch a squat rack or glute drive machine😅

No way! Part of the fun of going to the gym is meeting men who care about their health. It’s a great way to meet potential dates. I also go to the gym with my brothers all the time. It would be sad not being able to work out with them.

As a woman, my only request for gym is no filming allowed, with the exception of security cameras. Honestly, I am fed up with all the influencers and bloggers (who should be able to afford their own home gym by now) getting in the way, or me in their shot while I'm sweating buckets and getting red in the freaking face cause I'm actually working out and not just pretending. A woman's gym only has the right intentions for women who are uncomfortable exeecising around men and vice versa, but I have a feeling it will turn into Americas next top model instead. As long we can keep the filming out, then it should be promising.

I totally get this. If there was an option for a male only gym, I would pay a bit extra for it. The women at my gym seem nice, but my insecurities flare up pretty bad when I'm trying to work out around women. Also, I avoid working out next to women if I can help it because I don't want to be called a creep for when I'm staring off into space between sets.

I used to go to a where the running track, pool and jacuzzi was co-ed, but the workout rooms and bathroom/showers were separate. I loved it.

As a man, if a woman is suffering due to undisclosed issues in their lives that makes them afraid of men (abuse victims is one example) having an option to not have men around to unintentionally trigger any psychological symptoms would be good for healing and provide a means to not be trapped in the house

Ladies, would you prefer to go to a gym that's exclusively for women?
