Thanks for the feedback, everyone. We'll probably dial things back but keep a few choice moments in there for cutaways. Our aim is to increase output.

I think your honest commentary is what keeps people watching you guys. The editing is great and the cutaways are funny but definitely not needed. If getting rid of those inserts means you guys can put out more content quicker to grow your channel, do it. The aesthetics of the show already give me an indication that you guys care about the production value too, so you're not losing any respect from me as a filmmaker doing that!

The cutaways are fine, often funny, but definitely not needed. I watch for the genuine, unvarnished commentary on current movies. Really, whatever you guys think is best. Keep it up!

If fewer cuts means more videos, then I'm for it. The cuts are fun, but they aren't the meat.

I watch your videos for your opinions and of course for spoilers, I really don't give a f**k about cutaways. You guys are interesting enough on your own. So, whatever you decide, I think it's gonna be great as always.

You guys are funny. I enjoy your opinions and banter. I'd rather see more videos than fewer, but flashier ones. If you need to put a clip in to make a point then do it but other than that I think people tuning in are there to see you guys, not the same B roll that is on every other channel.

idk man... You guys do some of the best edits ever. hilarious stuff. But i do appreciate more content. Maybe we can have our cake and eat it too. Do like "nerdrotic" with only occasional FULL edit, and daily pieces inbetween.

The Cut-Aways are nice to have but not necessarily needed. Your conversations and reasoning carry the weight.

IMO, not that I mind the editing, it's actually great, but I often find myself disappointed that when a movie has come out, the Hard Cut review isn't coming until a few days later compared to other Youtubers I watch (I realize some might be able to watch the movie earlier, and they might have hired help etc). But the earlier you can put a video out, the better. I remember Gary from Nerdrotic saying that one of his most viewed videos is just him talking into a camera from a hotel room, so I imagine timing is better than fancy editing when it comes to movie reviews and such.

I like ur editing but id definitely still watch with it cut back. Whatever is easier for you guys :D I know turnaround can be pretty important for catching new viewership

If it suits the edit of course, but I do prefer the longer form, unadulterated thoughts I like when your conversations are able to be steelmaned with an example from the film

I love a few clips and b-rolls sprinkled cleverly. The Keith David it's always funny, I mean, it's Keith David and the "Sure Jan" was perfectly placed. In my case movie clips help a little bit, sometimes I dont even know what the movie is, like "weapons" I had no idea what that was and your review and the clips made me realize it was not for me.

I would put out more videos with less edits but still retain the funny cutaway clips for a video every now and then. They aren't necessary for every review. However, the humor does help define the personality of the channel.

Whatever you guys do… you’ll make it work. I didn’t even notice until you asked this question.

Hard Cut
We’ve been dialing back some of our editing recently to be more streamlined and increase our turnaround time. Do you guys prefer less clips and b-roll? Or do you like all the cutaways?
