Cell. The animation in the Goku vs Cell fight was amazing, all the Z fighters had an active role, and Gohan felt like he graduated to being the main character.

Goku going Super Saiyan for the first time is such an iconic moment in anime history but seeing Gohan going SSJ2 was just a little more hype for me because Goku was always someone who loved fighting whereas Gohan was more innocent, so seeing him transform and turn into a badass was way more hype. All this to say, Cell saga for me lol

Namek has always been my favorite saga. The training part in the ship, the unsureity of Vegeta helping, and the fear of Frieza being the strongest in the universe, then Goku showing up and obliterating the majority of the Ginyu force with ease, then the original Super Saiyan transformation. Frieza, to me, is the best saga in all of Dragon Ball.

they are both fantastic arcs with the same epic moments so in my opinion it's very difficult to choose. I would give both sagas a 9 as a rating ahha

Cell for sure! The suspense, the mystery, the hype. Everything. The sheer suspense that can you actually go beyond a super saiyan was insane. Everybody has something to do as well. It was peak DBZ.

As a real legit fan both are very good. Both sagas have their greatness in their own right. Freiza saga was a turn up and beginning to end classic. Cell saga was a shift into more and better showing that the frieza saga was not a brick wall or limit but to show so much more can happen and more can be brung to the table
