Why on earth would you not have a Linux 100% option?

100% Linux since I’m a software developer, Linux has everything I need. Windows doesn’t have what I need most of the time.

I'm fortunate enough to be able to use Linux for both my work and home pc. Our entire household is Linux only now.

Linux and Mac for me. I’m a unix guy. Last time I had a Windows machine was 2005. That was when I landed a job that allowed me to use Linux. I’ve been using Linux since 1997 when I installed it on my Mac in college. All my uni courses used SunOS or Solaris for lab work so Linux was the closest most affordable thing I could use on my own PC to what I was taught in classes

Have not used a Windows machine, been 3+ years. Weird poll to not have a 100% Linux option.

I switched to full Linux about a year ago. Previously I used Windows for games and Linux for work (including WSL sometimes). After switching I noticed my system gain on performance, easier maintenance, easier development workflow (firmware and OS dev here). I do not feel any need to go back to windows except for $40 refurbished mini PC I use sometimes to reconfigure controllers which do not work in Wine nor in VM due to poorly implemented USB protocols in these tools.

Right now I am currently 50/50. I use windows for games and have been experimenting with linux (debian specifically) for the past 6 months and I really love how customizable it is. Valve's dedication towards supporting gaming on linux is unparalleled and I would love to completely switch over sometime soon as well.

My last Windows was Windows 2000 which I think I last used in 2009. Good little OS tbh, but things went dramatically down hill after that so I gradually switched to Ubuntu from 2007 - 2009, and then switched to Debian around 2014 and I've been happy there since.

Depends on whether I’m working at home or for my customer. My customer is all windows ☹️🙄At home it’s about 75% MacOS and 25% Linux — also depends on whether I’m developing, I tend to develop more on Linux

been maining gentoo since late 2004 :o, though I used windows 10 for my last non-development office job I had so if not development it'd probably be closer to 50/50

Thankfully, I have no need for any Windows-specific apps. All my work (and entertainment) is accessible through Linux. So farewell Winblows.

100% Linux since a year and half. Mainly playing games even new releases, so far all worked without any tinkering

The only time I use Windows is when I'm gaming, and even then it's not necessarily for the games themselves but hardware I use with them. I haven't been able to make TrackIR work in open-source software, plus lots of software for racing simulator gear, and that gear itself, is not compatible either. That's the only reason I still dual-boot.

2001 was when I deleted the last copy of Windows I had. I serviced and cleaned windows for friends but stopped using it myself. Mandrake to pop os now and everything in-between.
