Rest in peace to to N676DL. I hate aircraft retirements for this exact reason, strong personal/ emotional connections. People may just call them scraps of metal with wings and engines, but they are so much more than that. N7840A was my plane that was special to me and I literally call it “my plane.” I’m really hoping Planetags makes a set with that airframe. I’m sorry that your special plane got retired and my thoughts are with you. ❤️🩹

No now delta is getting rid of their 757s. I’m glad I flew on it before it’s too late.

Very upsetting finding out that the Delta B757-200 that was my second 757 flight and first wingletless 757 flight, was retired earlier today... I had one of my most memorable and best flights ever onboard this remarkable aircraft. This is my first time witnessing the retirement of an aircraft I have a personal connection with and have flown before, and with most of my flights so far being on older aircraft, this experience will unfortunately become more occurring.. I have a strong feeling N324JB will be the next to go 😔
