Today marks 16 years of creating these videos on YouTube. Today I have five different channels, this one alone has 2,838 videos, over 60 Million views, and 180 thousand subscribers. All of this is made possible through YOUR time, interest, and attention. Thank you for sharing a few minutes with me and making this all work. YOU, the viewer, are the most important part of this whole process, and I appreciate YOU. :) Thank you for watching my dopey little videos, and I hope you had a laugh while learning something new.

ā€œWanna see something cool!ā€ Hell yeah I do! Some stuff I knew about, other stuff I didn’t so it’s always a treat when I hear that sentence. Not to mention the humor is impeccable. I love the long form stuff as well. The plant shutdown series awhile back was incredible and I was super stoked when the most recent vid dropped. Keep doing what you’re doing cause it’s great! And that’s pretty cool.

@Sere-dq7rz

The algorithm showed me your channel during a low spot in my life but, the humor reminds, and topics have definitely pulled me back into tinkering world. Thanks Chris.

@kevincopley7783

Your down to earth attitude and sense of humor pulled me in (not to mention I’m fascinated by power stations). Keep on keeping’ on man!

Thank you Chris, for taking the time to create one, if not THE most entertaining and informative content on YouTube!

@BlastinRope

i started watching your videos in like 08-09 when you would do the tear downs of various devices with the other gentleman, those were super relaxing to watch

I love the sheer golden retriever energy you bring to each video. Without fail whatever foul mood I'm in doesn't last long when pitted against one of your videos. You keep doing what you do and you'll have a supporter in me.

Chris, you’re a good guy. Your passionate enthusiasm about the subjects that you teach is contagious. You go through the time to break things down and make it fun. The only complaint I could possibly think of is your humor (while often laugh out loud hilarious) is a little crude at times which is ok but not appropriate to share with my kid who also has interest in this stuff and while it might go over her head , it still leads to a lot of questions that I’m not ready to explain to her a 9 years old. Let me be clear- I love you man - truly, this is not a judgement just an observation. And I’ve really wrestled with whether or not I should comment on this. But I’ve realized over the years we help each other out and make each other better by constructive criticism in love . Not in judgement or hate . World has enough of that. And if nobody says anything how will we know? Love what you do and love this channel! I’m always looking for new posts . And I actually really enjoy the shorts! Keep up the good work and thanks for making the world a better place for all of us! God bless you man!šŸ‘šŸ»

@joevan949

You are cool, sir. Thank you for all the education, joy, and humor you bring to every video. I was taught electronics by a navy technician and you bring back fond memories of blasting capacitors, starting fires, and wild jokes. You're awesome and appreciated, sir.

Dude, I worked on threat radars for the Air Force and am versed in electronics. The way you teach and engage is second to none. Love your content!

@CharlieTheAstronaut

You got me excited and interested in stuff I learned in school 15 years ago (and got a technical diploma in) and never used.

@networkoperations

Love you brother. Your quips make every day a little less dull. Cheers. While we'll never understand how much you truly appreciate us, you'll never understand how much we truly appreciate you.... And that's pretty cool? Doesn't really work there. Anyways. Thanks.

@butchblaster7073

I found your channel incredibly recently, but I've been using it as a legitimate educational resource, and you've been helping me understand electricity. Electricity is something I've been scared of working with for a very long time. Now, I'm thinking of starting some of those little "project in a box" things to apply what I've learned. Thanks man, dudes rock, and that's pretty cool.

@thesparkypilot

LOVE your work! This is one of the channels where you actually feel SMARTER after watching!! I’m an electrician currently transforming myself into an electrical engineer (puns intended!!!) and I always send your videos to my friends who ask me about stuff! Hope it’s 16 more years my friend!

@pin-monkeypinball3548

Thank you. Love your videos. Electrician by trade now after being mechanic and police for years. Specialize in controls and building automation the past 8 yrs. I have a small channel teaching electromechanical pinball and game repair the past 3 yrs or so. Just casual and post as I can but your videos inspire me. Especially the one liners. I'm just as sarcastic and real as it comes. I'm glad you enjoy what you do. It shows. Same here, so because of you, I'll keep pushing, even when I don't get subs etc. Thank you.

@conradengelbrecht7725

Just discovered the channel a couple months ago. Have always had an interest with this stuff but no idea where to start. I’ll admit, don’t really know what you’re talking about most of the time but I’m still learning a lot. Thank you for creating the videos!

@SanguineMaelstrom

I'm in school to get an associates in electrical systems technology. Your videos are both entertaining and helpful. Keep doing what you're doing, I hope to find a job working with PLCs, but who knows!
