In the latest from the Creating Emerging Markets project: Badreddine Ouali is the Founder and Co-CEO of Vermeg Group, a specialized software house providing financial services in banking, capital markets and insurance. Founded in 2002, Vermeg is based in the Netherlands, with a substantial back-office operation in Tunisia. Ouali had previously founded a Tunis-based software company in 1993 named BFI, which he later opted to re-establish as Vermeg in Amsterdam due to mounting political and economic pressures.
