When youre intentional with it and make it a habit to attribute certain frequencies w different colors, the feature is actually really nice. When you get used to it, identifying sounds in your workflow is just that much faster.

EDIT: Still early....but looks like it'll be a resounding 'no'. I used it in an upcoming short (knock2 drums/kicks) for learning purposes. Stay tuned. Realized I never turn it on while producing, only if I want it to look cool Edit again: I spoke too soon

well in my case i customized my fl theme to black and neon green so every waveform is automatically green for me which i think kinda looks pretty cool

Yes i do it all the time. It looks better for an eye. Something like Ryos does in his project so red green blue colors mainly😀

I do cuz basically i can see how much bass or high end a sound has ... Like dividing freq ranges by colour get an idea how i wanna balance sound not just the dynamic waveform but spectrally too

Other than it being great eye candy, I can only see myself using it a few specific cases -- Chopping loops, organizing projects easier
