Bink Bricks

Hello to anyone who sees this.

Thought the past few weeks, I have been having a long deep think about YouTube and what I really feel good about doing. I made my YouTube channel almost 3 years ago and back then I was a completely different person to who I am today, and so was the world. Back in 2020, people were in lockdowns due to COVID-19 and had more time than ever to watch YouTube and make YouTube videos. That was my case, as I had the time to upload 2-3 videos a week with ease. I was having a great time making YouTube videos and enjoyed finding other small LEGO creators who without making my own YouTube channel, I would probably never have found. 2 years ago, YouTube was amazing, I was loving it so much. My views were high and the enjoyment of making videos was even higher. But as lockdowns ended people had less time to watch YouTube and make YouTube videos, me included. Because of less views and less time, many other small channels that used to be uploading in 2020/21 quit without telling anyone, and haven't uploaded for almost a year today. I too also had loads of things back on again with school and that, meaning I also had less time to upload. I kept going but haven't been feeling that enjoyment I used to have anymore. Since 2020, I've grown up, my interests have changed and what I enjoy has also changed. Of course I still love LEGO though, but not enough to have a full on channel where I upload videos to get no subscribers and comments and little views.

This is why I am announcing today that I won't be uploading many videos to this channel anymore. I may still make some videos (ie: thoughts video about a set I really like/if I buy a big LEGO set) but nothing else. I do have another channel where I upload NRL (National Rugby League) tipping videos each week if you want to check that out ‪@j_blinkster97‬ .

Thank you for being here over my 3 year journey on YouTube, and I am not quitting, I am just announcing I am making a very small amount of videos from now on.
