Parappa the Rapper has amazing graphics what are you talking about. Its papercraft art style is timeless and deliberate, it holds up so well. Thats like saying Cuphead has bad graphics because it “doesnt look real” A better example I can name is PS2’s Spider-Man 2. Muddy textures, bland art direction and in terms of fidelity the prior Spider-Man movie game looks better in terms of looking like the Raimi universe in game form. The models of RSM1 versus RSM2 alone take a massive hit, but it’s still a brilliant licensed game and that hit is due to it being an open world game and those being tough to look good on a tight deadline
