Hooked and Rooted

Happy Fall Friends!! Its a rainy day here in the northeast and I'm so happy about it! We need the rain badly, and its really helping with the cozy fall vibes. I have lots of work to catch up on inside, things that get neglected during the gardening season. I'm sure many of you can relate. Tell me friends, how are you all doing? Are you looking forward to this new season? Also, its time for me to start thinking about some Hooked and Rooted at home videos. Let me know if you enjoyed those last year and some things you would like to see? Hope you all have a beautiful and cozy fall day! - Steph 🌱P.S. A picture of Rocco enjoying some new recliners George and I treated ourselves to recently. Rocco says they were a great addition to the living room 💚

I would love to see more seasonal arrangements—maybe decorating flower boxes for the holiday season. I struggle with this.😊

I’m always sad for summer to end. That crisp fall air plays with my heart, but winter taps on my shoulder!

I am a new subscriber and love your gardens and videos. Would love videos on evergreens in the colder weather and what to expect from them? Perhaps a video on houseplants if you have some and enjoy caring for them in the winter months when you can't be outside?

I would like a video about what kind of seeds you can just throw in the ground during cool months and forget about for all of us lazy gardeners.

Hi Steph, I did enjoy the ‘inside’ videos. And I have a new, very similar recliner, same color 😁

Your videos are very resourceful. I have learned a lot by watching them. I have a bulb garden, a perennial garden and a 20’ x 40’ raised bed vegetable garden.

New and novice gardener here. 😐 I have garden-related topics/questions. I struggle with understanding how to best cultivate seeds and overwinter - best to do that indoors or outdoors? How to plant perennial bulbs so they don’t crowd each other out throughout the growing season, while avoiding a big open space if planted too far apart. So, when one dies back the next one comes in. Should I draw out a garden map? I’ve seen videos out there but I always feel like there’s a question in my head afterward and would enjoy your take on these topics
