I am sad but not surprised. A few at the top that don't understand the pain of the masses wants Nigeria to still be in the state of backward change that Buhari has put us. GoodLuck Jonathan warned us but we didn't listen. Another 8 years of horror has just began. May God have mercy on Nigeria.

See you in court APC. Obidients this is not the end, we are just starting. Democracy must win. This is not the first time Peter Obi has gone through something like this. The end justifies the means. No shaking!

As a Ugandan, I am severely pained by the outcome of the Nigerian elections as I followed the proceedings keenly. It's very sad that INEC has the audacity to declare a winner after all that gross election fraud. Another blow to the African continent.

At the primaries Tinubu said it was his turn to be Nigeria's president because he had previously made buhari president. Now APC has colluded with INEC to make it Tinubu's turn indeed. What this means is that in Nigeria, elections of leaders do not reflect the choice of the electorate, but the wishes of those in power . In other words, elections in Nigeria is a mere formality and changes can't come through the ballot box 🗳

This is the saddest disaster Nigeria has ever encountered, to have the worst of the people imposed on the best of us Nigerians. If this move is not upturned and the right person put in there then Nigeria is in for serious trouble

This is depressing, and I’m not even a Nigerian citizen. As someone of partial Nigerian descent, I was praying that a competent leader who would represent Nigeria with dignity and vigor would be elected. I’ve got a bad feeling about these results, if they are true. I pray for Nigerians and that what I fear does not come to pass. 🙏

This is very sad and disheartening. Nigerians never voted for BAT. Shame on INEC.

INEC has shattered the hope of Nigeria youth who voted overwhelmingly for a new Nigeria. For the very first time, I felt the need for Nigerians to go their separete ways.

I am so sad and disappointed, I cannot believe that this old man with goggly eyes is back frustrating Nigerians. I was really praying that Nigeria will have a leader with different mentality and move you guys to the next level. Hurting for my brothers and sisters from your Kenyan sister.

We have a people's mandate to recover. It's never easy to recover something that you've given to a mad man

To everyone who joined and supported the rigging of this election, shame on you. APC knows the card they played. They manipulated LP's figures to theirs just as was seen in Rivers. For every place they allowed lp win, the margin was low. For every place they made themselves win, he margin was high. To all the electoral officers who supported their mission willingly for personal gain, may you experience times 2 the suffering of the ordinary Nigerian. LP won this election outrightly by APC with their structure of criminality, thuggery and rigging stole the will of the people. Seriously it will not be better for them o. We will never forget this injustice. Aunty @adeola thank you for the voice you've been giving since this election, God bless you It is in times like this we know the true colour of people.

If this was kenya 🇰🇪 chai!there would be fire everywhere..it's amazing how impunity was portrayed in Nigeria 🇳🇬 in broad daylight 😳 the chief of police was very arrogant 😳 the observers were all clear that the people had totally been disenfranchised ...I can't believe that Nigeria will continue suffering under BAT ...the eight years have been terrible 💔 😢...INEC DID THE WORST JOB FROM THE BVAS ENSHRINED IN THE ELECTION ACT '65 TO BRIBERY TO OBIS VOTES BIENG REDUCED ...INEC PORTAL WAS INTENTIONALLY PROGRAMMED TO FRUSTRATE 😞 THE PEOPLE..NOW ITS UPON NIGERIANS TO DECIDE WHETHER NIGERIA IS AN ENTERPRISE OR NIGERIA 🇳🇬 BELONGS TO TH

I personally think Yakubu was compromised, period. I don't think it's about money. They probably threatened his family and, or blackmailed him. It's a sad state for the country. Corruption in this country has just been exposed for the whole World to see.

As a Liberian I was truly hoping Nigeria could show the rest of Africa what a fair democratic election looks like to motivate other countries to stomp out corruption.. but this was truly the most obvious case of corruption, for leaders to be this open and blatant with their corruption is mind blowing and shows they have no fear or respect for the Nigerian citizen to even try to hide it just a little.
