At first glance, I thought they were orphans. So glad that Mama was there, too. <3 I bet if the kittens had been left by themselves, poor Mama would have ended up pregnant again in very short order. But now she won't have to suffer through any neglect and disregard again. Thank you.

Precious babies! So glad they were rescued. People who abuse animals are likely to also abuse human babies, the disabled and the elderly. It's a precursor. The laws against animal abuse should be much stricter than they are presently.

"the human equivalent of a paper cut between the fingers"......wow. Totally awesome. They forgot 'may their eyes always feel like they have something in them and may everything put in their mouth breaks a tooth' I get that people may not be able to afford the expense of a pet right now, but to just intentionally abandon them instead of dropping at a rescue is beyond. All states need to update their animal cruelty laws as this is happening with an alarming regularity.

Thank goodness they were found. I was angry enough one time when someone left some cats in carriers outside the OPEN gates to a cat shelter I used to volunteer at, which I discovered when I arrived, but leaving cats in an open box out in a park where they might not have been found..... grrrrrrr 🤬
