I watched it! And while I agree that it seems his main target is Lucifer, part of me is wondering if you think Alastor would want to get back at Rosie. I actually thought you were going to say his target is Rosie. Do you think Rosie is in danger? If Alastor manages to complete his end of the deal, that he has with her.

The funny thing is I agree with a lot of this. But there one thing that is unique about Alastor that has been confirmed by the creator and the Alastor Comic that Vizie made that canon. He tends to see woman not as threats but those that need to be protected. He has a very specific bias likely because he was raised by a single mom of color with an absent father. So he sees men as players in a messed up game of life while woman are those that need to be protected. Which is likely why he is more amicable as despite being on Rosie's string he NEVER talks bad about her. Seeing her less as competition but more as someone that stepped into the role of power not a competitor tho obviously he WANTS OUT and he actually quite tolerant of Nifty even pleased with her. And his mannerism with Mimzy also show this. But it also why since he sees men as both competition and aggressors that he was downright CRUEL to vox because he can't fathom a man actually being genuine. As he was used to 'kissing up' to yuppies just so can make it big as a radio star despite his handicaps and killing those that piss him off enough. It's so fascinating because he truly is cruel and awful yet gives woman much more leeway. Which is likely why Lucifer pisses him off because he knows he can't do shit to him. As Lucifer is literally head hancho of hell and considering Alastor got his ass handed to him by Adam he has NO chance at making a dent to Lucifer.

I'm not sure where best to mention this, but the subtitles/closed captioning in the Nebula videos needs some TLC, it's really rough

Will do so, but after the season is completed. Got my own theories and don't wanna be influenced. ;)

Let's not forget who alastor was whilst alive. There's a good chance he just wants to kill everything, be the last creature left in the afterlife

The big thing for me is how can Rosie make Alastor the most powerful sinner, if she is a sinner? The answer to me is that she's not a Sinner. There has been a theory bouncing around that Rosie is the "Root of All Evil" or Roo for short. You see the fetishes (old use, not kinky definition) that Alastor hangs when he was human and that symbols that swirl around him when he uses his powers are the same ones the evil family in Helluva Boss had around their house and t he mother brought up the Root of All Evil. Though I think Alastor's plan is going to back fire on him. I think getting defeated and captured by Vox is a play to say he isn't the most powerful so Rosie faulted on her contract or needs to rescue him and give him more power... But I am willing to bet that the Hotel crew, Particularly Charlie, is going to rescue Alastor even though he quit.

I could definitely see this theory being true, but my big question with Alastor is then why want to quit the hotel, as he's clearly still getting under Lucifer's skin? Unless it's that, with his wounds, he's feeling rather defeated? Also, I wonder what his endgame is by allowing Vox to capture him. Theory 1 is that it allows him power over Vox, which is true, but also puts him in an extremely compromised position, especially since directly before he'd been focused on fixing his staff, and I wonder how that will further his endgame on that front. Theory 2 is that appearing as a martyr for Charlie, as is one of the conditions for his deal with Vox, means that she may put him on a pedestal, which knocks on Lucifer a bit. All that being said, and with the dark triad discussion, there is a particular scene where he's in his room looking at the scar where I notice he kept the cockroach crown Niffty made for him, which is the only clear thing we recognize as a gift in his room. So I also wonder if he can hold care for someone, as he already has power over Niffty and wouldn't need to keep his 'King Roach' crown to prove that. Great video!

I think you could broaden your theory to include anyone Alastor views as in a position of such power. He certainly wouldn't stop with Lucifer. Also, this is a bit off topic but Alastor's narcissistic traits limit his potential significantly. He could have easily killed Adam if he gave a few angelic weapons to those little imp summons he managed to cover Adam with, but he was so focused on trying to use his own power to overpower Adam that he left himself vulnerable.

I think that the deal Alastor has with Rosie was made intentionally vague. She probably told him to get rid of Morningstar, Alastor assumes that to be Lucifer, but Rosie never specified which Morningstar. Alastor will destroy Lucifer using the V's and put Charlie in power as his puppet, and try to get rid of Rosie only for her to reveal she still owns him and that if he ever tries to mess with her, she'll make him destroy Charlie. This is all farfetched but Rosie doesn't strike me as someone without contingency plans. And both of them know it's better to subtly control a leader than to be one.
