What's Your Favorite Gunpla Grade?

MG. That perfect balance of size and detail are what brought me to it. The build time is shorter than a PG, and the build itself is far more detailed and intricate than a HG. I just wish there were more being made nowadays. Can't wait for Lupus!

HGs are great. Huge variety, mostly inexpensive, the engineering is constantly improving, their smaller size makes them easy to display anywhere, and they're very collectable. No matter how many kits you have, you can always find a way to fit another HG on your shelves.

MG all the way. HG has the most variety, but the detail and size make MG best to me

RGs are the perfect combo of the aesthetics of a MG with the scale of a HG. They don't take up a lot of room and they look amazing.

HG. Affordable and not too large so I can have a lot of them in the same storage area. Now if only the HGs I want weren't P-Bandai exclusives!

@ProfPyro

My first kit was an MG. Every HG kit I've ever built has left me wanting more. HGs are more affordable and the selection is second to none, but I enjoy the more complex details and solid construction of MG. Perfect Grade is terrifying because of the expense; if you bugger it up you're out SO MUCH more than other grades and that can stifle the builder's zen.

The insane variety of HG kits seals it, for me.

Real grades for me, I like the level of detail you get and they aren’t generally as expensive as a MG is. Some can get there but not all of them.

Master Grade all the way.

MGs because it's the perfect scale for me

RG kits are the best of both worlds between HG and MG. Good price, perfect looks and detail. Fun build especially the old ones those were fun and unique.

Im happy to be in the 3% PG gang 😅. I’m exclusively hunting for perfect grades though I used to love MGs but I prefer bigger and more complex gunpla and models now

RG can be more stressful than it probably should be but dear god the end result is fantastic. I still need to get around to my RG Eva unit 1

Im coming from Warhammer background and its wild to see the price of a high grade models. I don't feel as bad buying one or two gundam models for kitbashing and painting compared to buying a box of space marine. Their also a good size to try painting techniques like stippling, panel lining and wet blending

I just wish the RG 2.0 inner frames would be interchangeable. Adding bulk to such great gunpla.

@Gordulan

The fact that the Hyaku Shiki hasn't gotten a RG kit is a crime against all of Gundam.

@RedCometNurse

MG if not for the fact that Bandai has all but abandoned the scale.
