EVERETT OVERTON

Debate will rarely change another’s mind. In fact, debate often cements personal convictions further. It’s basically two possessed egos talking.

Only physical pain alongside emotional suffering has the potential to awaken a person.

Even then there’s still no guarantee.

We’re all possessed by the false. Some far more than others, but we all are. It’s your job to see it. No one can force you.

The quicker you identify the false you, the more God energy is present.

When you surrender to the false, you’ll feel EVERYTHING. You can’t handle all those emotions. No one can.

But when you catch the false in you in the act, take the car keys away….the false won’t leave….but it’ll smile and hop in the backseat.

True. Once I see a certain level of pushback, poor comprehension, stubbornness towards my counterpoints I just stfu. Because it’s their ego yapping instead of their logic listening, interpreting & discerning. Its better to let them learn what you’re saying later at their own pace and/or the hard way.

100% agree. Once you’ve truly been humbled by physical & emotional suffering & knocked off your pedestal the scales can quickly fall from your eyes. It allowed me to come face to face finally with the false me & it was repulsive. Now I immediately see what I was like in other people & it’s toxic to me & I avoid them to the point I changed my job & had to cut off some family & friends

Getting rid of the false you is one of the hardest things to achieve and will take many years if you are even able to do such a thing. Most people would never cut out a family member to find the real them. Letting go of everything attached to your identity is the first step of many hundreds if not thousands more to embark.
