Caledorn

Hi everyone, and thank you for the warm welcome back! 😊 I'm really enjoying playing Anno 1800 and recording the process for you guys, and I hope you will enjoy the series as much as I am enjoying playing the game and recording.

I have a question though. Since I plan on releasing 2 - maybe occasionally 3 - episodes per week of the series, I thought aiming for around 1 hour per episode is a good goal. I want the episodes to "feel meaningful", especially when there's not a daily release schedule for them, which is what I have in mind for this. And the thought is that for those who do not have time to sit and watch one full episode in one viewing, since YouTube is nice enough to remember where you were in a video if you leave it, you can watch in in multiple sittings.

But just to make sure I thought I'd make a poll for this, and since I've already recorded 4 episodes it didn't make much sense to me to ask in an episode that won't be released until next week by which I potentially will have recorded several more episodes. Do you feel 1 hour (give or take 10 minutes) is an okay time for this different style release schedule than what I have done in the past?

If you respond no, please consider leaving a comment with (a) suggestion(s) for what you think would be a better way of doing it. I'm definitely open to suggestions, as long as the suggestions do not entail a daily episode, which I do not wish to commit to at this point. 😊

Caledorn! You have been missed! It's great seeing you again after all this time. Don't worry, imo your episodes are a sit back and relax type, so I feel having them be on the longer end would be what people want. Having a 20min Caledorn episode just feels wrong. ❤❤

TBH, the daily episodes were a bit of a grind to keep up with, especially if work kept me from watching for a day or two and I ended up with 2-3 episodes of backlog... I ended up checking out of some series because I got so behind and I'm sure the stress was pretty high on you as well. With this format, things are more relaxed, and I think it will be better for everyone. Publish at your pace and ability, that will be fine for me.
