Yes, Absolutely, It's one of the most boring games I've ever played, which is the worst thing a game can do. The plot and characters are on the same level as a mid marvel movie, the gameplay is the only thing that saves this game but is heavily held back by bullet sponge enemies, attacks that do to much damage and bosses that only have only 2 or 3 moves. I had too rant about this because I feel like I'm the only guy who hates this game. The OG trilogy is better.

Ironwood was, but that’s a universal fact.

Haven't played it, and I will probably never play it. Probably a skibidi toilet vic in terms of enjoyability.

@Svnder33

It’s one of those games where the first play through is incredible and if you do everything the game has to offer it’s worth it. However, I could not see myself replaying it. They fixed the replayability a little with the rogue-like dlc.

Way worse than original series. I think they should stop on Kratos death cause its already a complete story, no need to make another TLoU with Parent/Child behaviour. But i think it's a trend now. Like making a show about "goofy ahh old man suffering and wanna be something bigger" like rick and morty/soprano/breaking bad etc

@erckupazo

Overall no, but it'd be a lie to say that there weren't parts that were actual slogs

@ashyflame

I think it's big issue is pacing a lot of sections drag while the final battle goes by way too fast

It wasn’t boring persay but I didnt find the writing particularly good, especially toward the end when the pacing gets rushed. I also was annoyed to no end with how people acted like 2018 was the star of Kratos having any semblance of depth. Not to even say I had an issue with 2018, but Ragnarok, I disliked how they basically reset Kratos and Atreus to push the melodrama trust issues between them. Not to mention how everyone treats Kratos like they no him with zero context outside of him killing his pantheon.

@MrAlmo00

Atreus missons were boring and the ending was lackluster and dissapointing And the way freya was convinced to stop coming after us made no sense

It's a good end to the Asgardian saga, the worst section being Ironwood hands down. I prefer 2018, like both games, but I wouldn't play Ragnarok without playing 2018 first, they should be taken as a pair to tell the story, I think
