Because your new pup will likely be Koda’s sidekick and because his coloring reminds me of a ghost, I think you should name him Nagi. It’s the Lakota word for spirit or shadow and goes well with Koda. ❤

Thinking of you most used tools, 1) the sander: Alexander (or Xander or Zander) or 2) the scraper: Skyscraper (people suggested sky for the blue eyes)..might work if he will be a tall dog

Beautiful pup! My son works with a woman that breeds Aussies here in Texas. Great dogs (I have had Shelties for the past 20 yrs). I believe their name will become apparent to you when he/she does something quirky that ‘speaks’ to you. Dickens was my first and holds a very special place in my heart. He was a Little Dickens … still cry when I think of him. Oh gosh… I’m getting nostalgic! Love the pup & Koda. And grateful for your sharing your experiences and talent. Bless you.

Hello Barry, I'm so jealous of your kids! They are truly beautiful together, I think Koda would like his new brother's name to be Sky! Love and hugs to both of them ❤❤❤❤

I’m crying. She looks just like our first ever dog and her name was Blossom. 😢 She was the best girl.

Archer is a common name in Australia, but not so much in the United States; my vote is for Archer.

I could suggest a dozen or so names, but of all the names I’ve seen so far, I’m really liking the name Oakley, the best. Whatever name you choose I’m sure it will fit him. Welcome to the world of being a proud owner of Ausshole’s!! I had an Aussie and she bred with the Aussie neighbor, I wound up with 8 puppies!! 7 were adopted and I kept one that was deaf and had depth perception issues, I named him Zeus, one of the smartest dogs I’ve ever had, yet one of the craziest ones! I’m looking forward to finding out what you name him and watching him grow!

Jarrah. It’s a Western Australian tree only grown in the South West of the state. A beautiful rich coloured hardwood ranging from honey to deep red tones. Not really a colour in keeping with your new pup but it’s an indigenous Australian name in keeping with an Australian bred dog. Also, it’s a wood type!
