As the Magic Lantern community continues to grow, we keep getting unique projects, experiments, and updates that make it even more exciting!

In my latest video I checked out a DIY full cinema rehousing for the Canon EOS M that adds a ton of features, and fixes some of the biggest headaches with shooting Magic Lantern RAW video.

I can’t wait to see what comes out of this community in the future, and especially which cameras get ML support next!

People only focusing on the downsides of the camera without knowing how to combat it. Eos M with ML started my filmaking career and I can say that those limitations bring the best out of me. I still use it as my B cam to my panasonic systems and I enjoy grading my footage on it than to my A cam. More Eos M vids please!

I really appreciated my time with Magic lantern. Can’t say I ever plan on going back to it as I hated the low light fight. But if you really want to learn more about a camera, you can’t beat it. Absolute kudos to the community and people around it!

I just wish we had a magic lantern equivalent for the pentax cameras.

Im definitely considering the M lite rehousing mostly for the swag factor. But tbh it seems more cost effective to either save for a newer and better camera or just rig it up with parts that you can use with whatever camera i get in the future.

AFAIK they’re developing ML for the Canon SL2!! There’s also ML for the 5D Mk3, you should really try it specially bc it’s a full frame!!
