In Ontario you don't have to get your CDL to haul farm products in a farm straight truck-no D required,only Z for air brake equipped trucks, which I have. I am taking the course to upgrade to ACZ in a month and wonder if I might get any consideration for the 30 years I have driving farm 1,5,10 ton straight trucks? Or just accept that I am a rookie as far as getting insurance or hired should I go that route instead of O/O? I understand that every company has a probation period no matter the experience of any new hire.
