Oh thank G*d! The hugging pictures are everything. So glad you guys took him for a tube feeding (stressful as it was for everyone, especially Miles); it clearly kick-started his system. Keep healing, sweet boy. ๐ฅน๐ฅนโค๏ธโค๏ธ

It's so important to have good vets, and support behind the animals we have, and love. Glad for Miles, and everyone taking care of him.

Being friends with a goose is magical. My mum and I had a goose friend. He was gorgeous, sat on our laps and gave the best hugs. Rest in peace, Gary! We still miss youโค๏ธ

Life With Pigs Farm Animal Sanctuary
๐จMiles Update๐จ As of yesterday morning, Miles still wasnโt eating so we had to take him to be tube fed as he has lost a significant amount of weight since the surgery. The wonderful staff at Poquoson Veterinary Hospital made the process easy and quick. And it was exactly what he needed because yesterday evening and this morning we saw Miles on the goose cam eating his pellets!!! We are SO relieved. His surgery site seems to be healing well and he will have a follow up with the surgeon soon as well. Stahl Exotics, who did his surgery, have been amazing as well and we are lucky to have such an amazing team working for our Miles!
