hot take that i will not be discussing further: the LIVE ACTION ending of lilo and stitch is BETTER nani made the right decision to go to college bc she couldnt spend another decade raising lilo especially bc she isnt financially or emotionally able to (which makes sense, she is a young adult in mourning of her parents) the neighbor is capable and gets along with lilo and nani gets to pursue her dream career. Nani deserves to pursue marine biology. Lilo deserves a stable home. This does not defeat Ohana because they did not abandon each other and cut off ties forever. Ohana means family and they did not change that. Also they use the portal anyway so chill out.
