Last few weeks I got stuck in the rain during a hike... I waited a bit in a shelter and just reflected on myself and life... when the rain won't stop, I got up and kept moving cause I'll miss my date with my GF. Lovely day and what a great feeling. Cheers to you too sir

As a Scottish native, almost every solo hike is in the rain

“Life isn’t about trying to ride out the storm, but rather learning to dance in the rain.” But seriously tho, I used to love playing in the rain as a child long ago, felt like I became to serious and prissy later in adult life, so I started to take walks in the rain recently. Feels good to just walk thru it, accept it, and simply be, rather than see getting a wet as an inconvenience. Brings an odd peace of mind if that makes any sense.

3 hours ago, ended up tired, wet, with mud to the heels and pretty relaxed and reenvigorated.

Unfortunately, I live in Singapore and we don't have mountains or scenic landscapes to hike on. It's a concrete jungle. I do visit a park on weekends though.

Shirtless backpack seems more like a Mad Max aesthetic. Too much foliage and rain.
