Appamādo amatapadaṃ, Pamādo maccuno padaṃ; Appamattā na mīyanti, Ye pamattā yathā matā. အပ္ပမာဒေါ အမတပဒံ၊ ပမာဒေါ မစ္စုနော ပဒံ။ အပ္ပမတ္တာ န မီယန္တိ၊ ယေ ပမတ္တာ ယထာ မတာ။ Heedfulness is the path to the Deathless; heedlessness is the path to death.
