Well deserved Matt, easily one of my favourite YouTubers. Helped me learn so much about unreal (Albeit I probably know around 0.01% of what is to know about the awesome software). Good luck for future.

Hey bro. I still remember seeing your early content since I was subscribed and started unreal engine content creation around the same time. It really makes me nostalgic and happy to see how far you have come so congratulations! Best of luck to the future of your channel from now which I can only predict will continue to skyrocket 😄

Today marks 5 years since I started my YouTube journey! 🥳 🥂
When I started, it was just a way to keep entertained during the COVID lockdown (that was 5 years ago!) and I had a simple desire to share what I was creating in Unreal Engine. That's now evolved into something far larger than I ever imagined, a mission bigger than myself. From using a phone mic to record and my awkward first time on camera, to a full-time career, a thriving community, and a personal mission to help others achieve their dreams, this journey has truly changed my life.
Back in 2020, I was just a 16 year old kid working at McDonald's with a love for game dev and sharing how and why things work. I didn’t have fancy gear, a plan, or any experience. But I very quickly built an audience around what I was doing, and I wanted to learn how to do this properly so that I could provide the very best content I could for them.
Fast forward to today, and I’m incredibly proud of what we've been able to achieve as a community!
- 90,000 subscribers
- 870+ videos
- 17 million views
- A personal brand and a game studio (COPA Gaming)
Looking ahead, I’m more excited than ever. I’ve got big goals. We'll hit 100k subscribers this year, keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with tutorials, and expand content into new areas. I want to become the go to name in game dev education. It's already been 5 years, but this is just the beginning.
To everyone who’s watched, liked, shared, commented, or messaged me, thank you from the very bottom of my heart! You’ve made this journey possible, and I’m so grateful to have you with me.
Here’s to the next 5 years! 🥂
