Silky Socks is going through a Major Pivot. As of this month we decided to end our Sublimation print offering, terminate our lease on this giant warehouse and sell off all this printing equipment. The move comes as a strategic decision to Refocus the business 100% on supplying blanks to other print shops and sublimation printers. The move also allows us to significantly cut back on overhead and payroll, while allowing us to keep the core business offering in tact. We will be sending all of our inventory to a partner warehouse who will warehouse our products for us, and fulfill all orders. This 3PL partnership should help free up Silky Socks to focus on Sales and marketing for the brand and improve operations on blank orders processing time as well; aiming for a same-day shipping cutoff by noon on blank orders after this transition. And all goods will be stocked and shipped from Ontario, California.
So a crazy time at Silky Socks right now, and tough decisions were made in this pivot including some layoffs and eliminating all this expensive equipment and space. But it had to be done for the betterment of the company and hopefully leading us to a leaner and better operation overall! This also means more fun marketing initiatives, creative sales and deals coming after our move is over. As our time will be more free to do so.
