The system isn't broken; it's working exactly as it was designed and created by the super wealthy and the super rich. The super-wealthy use their resources to shape public discourse and influence perceptions. They control media through ownership, lobbying, and think tanks to sway both the public and politicians. This control enables them to shape policy, rules, and taxes, allowing them to pay little or nothing at all. MPs and politicians often receive rewards, either as campaign contributions or lucrative jobs after public service, that provide ongoing influence over government decisions. Multi-millionaires, billionaires, and large corporations fund MPs and political parties to design policies and tax systems that benefit them—enabling them to pay less tax or avoid it altogether. They then use untaxed money to purchase assets, such as stocks, gold, and real estate—sometimes of companies they own—driving up prices and taking a greater share of wealth, leaving ordinary people with less. It’s time for us to unite against these greedy politicians, corporations, and wealthy billionaires. Together, we can close these loopholes and shape tax policy to ensure the rich and super-wealthy pay their fair share. It’s time to tax the rich. Tax wealth, not work.😊
