He’s one of the three reasons why I tuned into Star Trek TNG as a teen. Data and Geordi LaForge were the other two. Captain Jean-Luc Picard was vastly different than my favorite James T Kirk but nonetheless he was a great Captain. TNG is a great series for the Star Trek franchise. Happy birthday Sir Patrick Stewart. May you continue to live long and prosper.🖖🏾😊

I've seen his Henry II (with Glenn Close as Eleanor of Aquitaine) and when he paired with Sir Ian McClellan waiting for Godot. All sublime performances.

He did a really good Captain Ahab in Moby Dick (1998) i think he was considered because of his speech in ST8:FC

The man was a superb Shakespeare actor lol. Btw the first time I consciously saw him was in the film "Excalibur". Such a long time ago.

All great performances. Check Conspiracy Theory with Gibson/Roberts from 97. Stewart is on POS duty in that and it’s a great villain performance. “I WILL MAKE THEM PAY FOR WHAT THEY’VE DONE!” From Trek is his greatest scene incorporating PTSD into the Picard character. 🤠

Tom Jones made this sound seductive…this guy makes it sound like I need to file an injunction.

Multiple great performances on TNG. He’s great on all performances of course but my favorites were on TNG.
