There are thousands of them and great women too and their stories were written by the men who adored them, honoured them and followed them into battle in fights to the death as their queens. We had women who were the first females to wear the crowns of a great nation in all of human history in Africa. We had women like the great leader and warrior queens like Amina of Zazau (Zaria) Nigeria, she led patriarchal societies of Nigerian Muslim men to war. The most dangerous and most difficult type of men who never submit to women. There is the mother of the great Mai Idris Aloma of Bornu who carried him as a baby boy tied the African way only forwards and led an empire to war so the baby can grow up to become the leader after the death of his father. The owo mi energised to follow a baby so the mother ruled in his stead holding his weapon for him and ruling as if the baby was tilling as he is male. She had logic as those men don’t follow women. She convinced them it was the baby who is their king but his mother rules on his authority until he comes of age. He grew up to become a great warrior who charged alone into the enemy rather than retreat or surrender when his armies broke on the battlefield and ran away. They came back out of shame and won that battle rather than loose their great kind. Maybe afraid of his mother. We also have the legendary Kandanke queens including Amanirenas, they saved Africa from slavery for at least 1000 years by defeating Alexander the Great of Macedonia and Greece the destroyer of cities. They defeated the mighty immortals of Persia, they defeated the Roman Empire and forced the Caucasian race to wait for another 1000 plus years until they have stolen the gun powered to come back to complete their evil plans for our race so they can destroy us to come out of the poverty their creators created them into in their barren lands of Europe. We have legendary women like Queen mother Idia of the mighty Benin empire, a warrior, leader and diplomat mother of a great kind and wife of a greater king. We have Madam Atinubu, we have Mrs Olufunmilayo Ransome Kuti (Fela’s mother) and her sister the mother of professor Wole Soyinka. We have Princes Emotan of the Benin empire and dozens of great women who led my ancestors into battle the first time when went to war in the last 1000 years and educated them in how to stay alive in war after the men has raised them to become fearless Apex predators who are not afraid to die and are without fear. The list goes on and on in Africa alone. Mary more great African women went into slavery and made a difference. Nice fought with 2 men in Haiti, because of her achievement shaved was able to come to an end when the evil Caucasian had no more choice. The women of Nigeria today and the very foundation in which Nigeria’s greatness is built upon. They are our unsung heroes and heroines all in one. Everyone who was raised in Nigeria knows this to be true. Everyone all over the world wants to marry or breed with Nigerians today or even date them for sex. Because of the great work the Nigerian mothers put into all of their children and birthed, nurtured and shaped a nation. After God almighty in the sky, praises must go to our mothers, the women of Nigeria. I bow to them as a man. 🇳🇬🌍
