Brisbane's Queensland Museum Kurilpa's is an infinitely better museum than Sydney's Australian museum, well at least in its fossil collection.
Due to Queensland being the most fossil rich state in the country, the state's museum's filled with genuine specimens, and absolutely remarkable ones at that.
It's filled with up to date models, dioramas and diagrams, something Sydney's Australian museum struggles with.

1. Kunbarrasaurus.

2. Platypterygius

3. Warrenisuchus and Watsonisuchus

4. Siderops

5. Isisfordia

Cool museum pics! Paleontologist are like the hobos of science. They make due with whatever funding they can scrounge.

Cool fossils! Oh, I uploaded another video (actually two but one of them is a joke video), I decided not to do spec evo this time and just do a regular expository video. I think you’ll like it!… as long as you get through the first minute. (the first minute wasn’t nearly as funny as I thought it was 😬

The AMNH’s fossil halls are a mix of early 20th century and dinosaur renaissance in terms of information and displays (minus the Patagotitan and Apex who are recent additions). I’ve always wondered when/if they’d finally consider an update—particularly the ornithischian hall which is the most glaringly retro with everyone having droopy-tails.
