As a solo player,it’s great for me. It’s like having another player take the heat of me so that I can dispose of mobs easier

Ziplines for sending stacks to a certain place but flying mounts is a must. I reckon fly too high or for too long and birds can pick you out of the air. Keep the map less accessible

I like em, one HUGE problem is that sometimes falling down the smallest gaps can just insta kill you (this happened to me like 5+ times now) and it is really annoying and a game breaking bug, and when i mean gap i mean any height you start taking damsge including just 1 damage, the buggy will knock you off and insta kill you sometimes

They are cool asf and pretty impactful overall, but I would be lying if I said they didn’t need some work… - They constantly get in the way whenever you’re trying to harvest resources or something - Although the “call” and “send to nest” feature is convenient by design, they do still get stuck in certain and inconvenient situations and times - They try to fight bystanders when you are engaged in combat - They are VERY weak in combat, best serving as a distraction for a short period of time before most likely getting knocked - The orb weaver in particular is ESPECIALLY underpowered considering it’s intended purpose: It is too large for most caves, too low damage, the web shot is inconsistent to fire manually and is still a hazard for the player(s) when dismounted, and their “auto-attack” when sprinting, being automatic and not directly controlled, can cause you to hit things when you just wanted to sprint by - The “dead roots” may be a cause for concern for the game being TOO reliant on buggies due to the fact not ONLY do you NEED a buggy to break them, you need SPECIFICALLY the red ant soldier to break them (which also contributes to the reason why the orb weaver is underpowered) I know I did just shit on them a lot, but as I said, they are REALLY cool and are no doubt an awesome addition, it’s just I want them to be EVEN better and they most definitely CAN be…

Love them, but they need to respect personal space, and i would love to see customization and upgrades for them. For example an upgrade for the ant buggie, that lets it chop down tier 2 plants, and then another for tier 3.

The ant soldier should just summon 2 worker ants with a cooldown because they don't follow you worth anything

They're solutions to different problems. Ziplines are good for fast, long-distance travel; buggies are best-suited for hauling or combat at a near-to-medium range. While I definitely miss ziplines for getting across the park, buggies are still pretty well-suited for the current state of play. That said, I can't help but feel that if ziplines aren't in soon, I might resort to elevated buggyways just to avoid combat when traversing the map...

I have a love/hate relationship with them. On one hand they're great for getting around and not wasting durability on weapons for trash enemies that get in the way. Free storage is great as well. With the changes to bandages, they are also very helpful in a tough flight to take aggro while you're trying to pop a bandage. On the other hand, when you need to gather material, getting on and off is a bit annoying and they like to sit on the material you're trying to gather and just overall get in your way constantly.

The only issues I have with buggies is when you hit certain surfaces causes you're character to fall off sometimes resulting in death

I want the spider buggy to be able to have no fall damage due to web spinning, and they have natural safety lines.

Now we need more work stations... So we can place armour of a red ant on top of a red soldier ant lmao

We could have both ziplines and buggies. They aren't the same and don't get in each other's way.

Middle option is funny, “do you like cars in gta 6 or are you bored of them?”

Flying buggies would be awesome. I played a game called Smalland a while back, and they let you catch and tame basically any creature. Some of the ground ones were nice, but once you got your first flying mount, it totally changed the game. They also had gliders, not like a slow your fall kind, actual gliders for covering distance. If Grounded gave us either of those options it’d be sweet. But, for now, I’d be happy with my buggy not getting in my way every 3 seconds when I’m chopping grass or something. lol

I want carpenter ants. They're like the current ants but stronger and can carry more.

theyre really, uh...buggy sometimes. Like even if youre max health, sometimes when you fall too far and the buggy gets stunned you just get launched into like the nearest wall or whatever and instantly die

Buggies are great, but I still think ziplines have their place. They just need to be expanded a little, like allowing vertical ziplines to make elevators and getting an Ominent ZIP.R with rocket propulsion so you can determine how fast you go.

I wish they had amour or something to upgrade. Skills. I would have liked to see a flying mount. One ground and one flying. How about a handle glider. One could use butterfly wings to craft it. Personally, I hate the Tufts and never use them. That would have been grand. But, I like them. Albeit, they are a bit glitchy and annoying at times.

A month after the early access release of Grounded 2 how do you feel about Buggies?
